Yes, that’s me in front of The National Archives of Ireland—just a typical rainy day in Dublin. Lesson learned—check the website before visiting. The Reading Room of the National Archives is closed to the public (except for limited, by appointment only access) August 22 through mid-October 2016. Improvements include the installation of air conditioning. Learn more about this effort to ensure that 100 million pages are stored in more suitable conditions.
